First Round of RitR

By rule, the Rebels start with initiative and can therefore select two systems to assault.  The Rebel commanders sent the B-wing supported bomber task force to Lothal, to secure the fighter production there.  The Imperials countered with their bomber heavy task force.  The selected objective was precision strike, perhaps missing out on an opportunity to secure a unique squadron.  In the ensuing combat, the Imperial Gozanti was caught out of position and destroyed.  One of the Rebel corvettes was also lost; however, the Rebels scored more victory tokens to win and added two E-wing squadrons from Lothal's production.  The Imperial Gozanti was repaired and upgraded with Boosted Comms to reduce its need to be in close combat.

The Imperials countered by sending Morna Kee's task force to Endor, and Tycho and his MC75 came to the system.  They discovered that a Rebel pilot in an YT-2400 was attempting to defect.  The gladiator moved ahead of the interdictor and exchanged close ranged fire with the MC75, and was ultimately forced off the map and lost.  However, the MC75 was sufficiently damaged that it did not survive against the interdictor.  The MC30 attempted to avenge and reduced the interdictor, with the help of the x-wing, twice to 1 hull remaining, but could not finish it off.  Tycho shot down Morna and prevented the defector from reaching the interdictor; however, the defector escaped aboard the station and handed the Imperials a narrow win.  Jyn Erso agreed to join the Rebel task force to help with future defectors.  The Imperials added a G-8 Experimental Projector.

The Rebels sent their corvette heavy task force to Mandalore in hopes of recruiting Toryn Farr.  They found an Imperial- and Victory-class star destroyers in the system.  They skirmished with the Rebels losing another corvette and reducing the Victory to one hull.  At the very end, the Rebels attempted to ram the Victory, but could not position any ships in time.  This left the Imperials with a substantial victory.  Ezra Bridger and Ashoka Tano were in the system and joined the Rebel task force.  Admiral Titus and Wulf Yularen took command of the star destroyers.
